Join our exciting Innovation Capability Center (ICC) in Bratislava, Slovakia. This specialized, innovative, and state of the art center of technological resources will drive data and digital capabilities and solutions across Takeda. The Center will be home to approximately 300 change agents, organized into chapters and cross-functional squads based on agile ways of working.

The Opportunity

As a Demand Manager you'll be accountable for the delivery of ongoing IT demands and projects/programs for assigned Data, Digital & Technology area. In his role you will run the demands/projects from initiation, planning through execution and report out the status of the individual projects to the leadership team. You are responsible to coordinate activities for the project/agile teams and ensure to connect with the stakeholders for change management and value realization within the receiving organization.

Responsibilities

- Leads demand intake process for a region to manage smooth delivery of demands
- Supports the Portfolio Management decision process via project charters, scopes, risk assessment, budgets, and IT value
- Lead the initiation, planning and execution of IT demands/projects
- Manage different kinds of projects (SCRUM, waterfall, stage-driven)
- Facilitate the definition of scope, goals, and deliverables
- Might have to manage project budget and project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule timelines
- Track deliverables by using appropriate tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
- Provide direction and support to the team
- Constantly monitor and report on progress to all stakeholders
- Create quarterly reviews with centralized Portfolio and Finance team

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of relevant Project leadership experience
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience preferable.
- Deep knowledge of Project Delivery Methodologies like Waterfall, SCRUM
- Preferred PMI certified or other certification
- Knowledge of IT programs and solutions like Veeva, Salesforce and Analytics solutions
- Ability to connect, orchestrate and influence different stakeholders from various departments and vendors to ensure programs/ projects are delivered in time, in budget and in expected quality to the end user
- Business Acumen within the space of Life Sciences
- Domestic and International Travel of up to 20% may be required from this position.
