Join our exciting and new Technology Capability Center (TCC) in Bratislava, Slovakia. This
specialized, innovative and state of the art center of technological resources will drive data
and digital capabilities and solutions across Takeda. The Center will be home to
approximately 300 change agents, organized into chapters and cross-functional squads
based on agile ways of working.

ICC Operations Lead will be responsible for:

Co-develop and execute strategy and implementation plans of Takeda Technology Innovation Center in Bratislava, Slovakia with guidance from Head of ICC
Report directly to Head of ICC as “chief of staff” and collaborates with global BU / IT organizations to ensure that products / platforms are successfully delivered to businesses
Provide leadership to cross-functional organizations including squads / chapters composed of the multiple projects / work streams in the successful delivery of high-impact IT initiatives
Contribute and influence the strategic plan for professionalizing and optimizing supplier relationship to support the IT Strategy, to push innovation and to optimize local supplier partnerships
Lead, impact and monitor the implementation of the IT domain plans on a strategic, tactic and operational level, match suppliers on contributing levels and drive operational excellence.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

Partners with Chapter leads, service leads, business to ensure appropriate technology platforms and products deliveries
Works with internal ICC squads and chapters, providing support for overall collaborations and serves as a liaison between the chapters and business units
Assure appropriate prioritization and alignment with the strategy and direction of the organization and that appropriate resources are allocated for their development
Responsible for utilization of the center and technological deliveries of platforms and products to business units
Drives an internal process towards creating optimal processes, standards and infrastructure for the center
Initiate and build the strategic plan for local supplier optimization, through trend analyzes, analyzes of supplier efficiencies, added value for each of the IT domains
Influence and manage an optimization plan for supplier use for IT domains on an operational, tactical and strategic level. Draft and operationalize KPI’s for suppliers to different levels of support to match optimal partnership with ICC

Personality requirements and skills

COMPETENCES AND SKILLS

MS (10+) with minimum of 5 years of IT industry experience
5 + years of experience with Software Development in Agile environment is must.
Experience with leading of business unit is a plus
3+ People management experience
Effectively communicate with varying levels of management i.e. IT Executives, IT Project Managers, Supplier Representatives, etc.
Collaborative partner able to influence and drive accountability across organizational and domain boundaries
Advocates for needed change across the organization that add to our success.
Prior experience in managing supplier and/or customer relationships
Experience with technology evaluation, deployment and project management in Agile environment is required
Ability to work collaboratively and influence others in a matrix setting
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and prioritize work
Interaction with IT leadership, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Business Operations, etc. and externally with key suppliers
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment
