Purpose of the role :

  • Manage full scope of central FP&A agenda in MEU: management reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting incl. rolling / monthly / weekly outlooks
  • Execution of the Planning Excellence agenda across MEU finance
  • Ensure the roll-out of the digitalization agenda in MEU FP&A
  • Drive harmonization agenda across areas in terms of management reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Liaise with Area FP&A, Global FP&A, Product costing etc.. functions to promote continuous simplification and removing barriers for execution

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage all stances of planning, budgeting and forecasting, including weekly/monthly outlooks for MEU FP&A, as well as system submissions.
  • Deliver regular management reporting with analysis of the deviations vs other forecasts, prior periods and actual results.
  • Deliver ad-hoc management reporting with analysis of the deviations vs other forecasts, prior periods and actual results.
  • Deliver on Planning Excellence agenda across MEU via strong collaboration with area finance and other x-functional teams
  • Execution of digitalization agenda in MEU FP&A in strong collaboration with digitalization team and business stakeholders
  • Drive harmonization and simplification agenda across areas in terms of management reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Develop and cascade appropriate guidance to Areas/Markets in questions related to planning and reporting based on global corporate calendar
  • Partner with Genpact in managing regular and ad hoc activities related MEU Central FP&A agenda and drive simplification in reporting, forecast management and financial systems.
  • Liaise with local, regional & global finance teams in undertaking and completing regular and ad hoc requests related to the MEU central FP&A 9 analytics, financial systems changes..)
  • Support other functions with consultations and advice to improve functional decision-making (e.g. estimation of financial impact driven by different outstanding options)
  • Engage in other related to MEU FP&A related projects implies by business needs.
  • Promote financial knowledge and literacy to non-finance functions by providing advice, consulting, trainings (general and specific), participating in developing web-courses and educating materials

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree in economics, finance or management accounting, or applied mathematics
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A or similar
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis methodology
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP
  • Knowledge of modern multinational business environment and understanding of cross-functional relationship and information flow
