The position is based in Bratislava and successful candidate will have contract with Allianz – Slovenská poisťovňa, Slovakia. Regional Product Owner – Input / Output Management will be part of Operational Management Team (OM Team). He/She will work in the virtual team with a focus on implementing the regional platform which is being implemented in Slovakia as well. Frequent travel of approx. 20-50% of the working time is to be expected within the CEE region mainly to Vienna.

Job description:

Main responsibilities on the position:

Business-to-IT translation with regards to business demands for changes in regionally harmonized IT systems
• Analysis of requirements with regards to fit to regional target process and existing functionalities in ABS Core and Allianz Austria.
• Explore opportunities for process simplification and changes to increase productivity in line with regional target picture in order to avoid need of deviation/customization.
• Translate best practice and legal requirements into IT requirements
• Ensure adherence of delivery process as defined by program mgmt.
• Maintain requirements in confluence and user stories in Jira in respect to the reporting standards of the project.

Steering of internal and external IT providers
• Ensure smooth IT implementation with teams from respective IT provider
• Main contact partner for OE KBRs and IT provider
• Alignment of UATs with Operational Entities and IT provider

Demand Management
• Actively work on change requests regarding regional processes, master products and IT system functionalities according to defined processes

Operationalization of group and regional strategy
• Ensure implementation of group and regional strategy with regards to harmonized processes, products and core insurance system functionalities
• Take an active part in regional transformation projects
• Steer implementation of group solutions on regional level

Business Process Re-engineering
• Provide process expertise to local business and local OM teams with regards to optimal process re-engineering in line with regional target processes
• Enhance and maintain regional target processes and organizational structures

Specific Product owner tasks in implementation phase
• Define e2e implementation scope per OE in the respective domain meeting the regional to-be processes and keeping deviations from target to minimum viable solution (e.g. legal and must-have market requirements)
• Project management tasks
- task management in JIRA
- attending daily scrums
- organizing sprint scope in sprint planning meetings (biweekly)
- organizing and managing technical / business meetings calls w.r.t. implementation tasks or open questions
- preparing minutes, business documents, management reports, or documents for decision making (customization needs) – collecting the needed input documents and information from OEs or respective domains
- coordinating / managing tasks between domains
• Checking, validating deliveries

Specific product owner tasks in pre-study light phase
• Preparing preparation package for pre-study light workshops
• Organizing and managing onsite workshops
• Preparing business documentation on OE customization / configuration needs → full description + fit-gap sheet
• Preparing input documents for full architecture document and solution outline document
