About the job:

With the implementation of the DORA Regulation, our security team at UNIQA Group is expanding to bolster support for our esteemed clientele. As a Group Resilience Expert, you will wield significant influence over our security strategy, playing a pivotal role in managing business continuity, crisis management, incident handling, and emergency response within the UNIQA Group.

Your Responsibilities:
• Implementation of Group-Wide Security Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of Group Physical Security Risk & Resilience to implement a comprehensive security strategy, focusing on business continuity management (BCM), crisis management, and emergency response.
• Development and Operation of BCM System: Lead the development, operation, and continuous improvement of the UNIQA Group's Resilience Management System, with a primary designated Business Units of the Group.
• Steering BCM Related Actions: Direct all BCM-related actions in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool
• Second Line of Defense: Establish standards for the first lines of defense, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and guidelines regarding security and resilience. Provide support to the first line, particularly in business continuity, project support, resilience testing, task forces, and incident handling procedures both domestically and within international business units.
• Coordination and Management: Oversee and manage all activities related to business continuity and crisis management in designated business units.
• Security Assurance Reviews: Conduct security assurance reviews within the managed security governance framework. Identify security issues, assess associated risks, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, including local senior management and the board.
• Definition and Monitoring of Security Measures: Guide or support the definition of security issues, measures, and exceptions to comply with security governance. Periodically review the status of these measures to ensure ongoing compliance.

Your required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certification in security management is advantageous.
• Proven experience in security management, business continuity, crisis management, or related fields.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in security and resilience.
• Proficiency in coordinating and managing complex projects and initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including the capacity to engage with senior management and board-level stakeholders.
• Prior experience in insurance or financial services sectors is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
