About the job
We combine the advantages of a small and agile company with a unique opportunity to cooperate with specialists from UNIQA Headquarters located in Vienna.
We are looking for an ambitious and service-oriented Risk Specialist with a funded knowledge in mathematics/statistics who will be supporting the UNIQA Risk Analytics team especially in the area of validation.
A day in a life of a Risk Specialist:
- You support the process of designing, developing, running, documenting and maintaining state-of-the-art validation tests and validation processes (incl. documentation) of the risk models
- You contribute to the development of R codebase, internal IT systems and regular codebase review processes
- You summarize your conclusions in well-written validation reports, summaries and presentations
- You perform high quality validation tests in accordance with a respective guidance
- You are actively involved in other projects in the field of quantitative risk management of the UNIQA Group
Your skills & qualifications
- University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or other quantitative degree
- Knowledge about quantitative analysis and data manipulation
- Good knowledge of MS Office and R programming language
- Proactive and reliable team player
- Fluent in English is a must, good command in German is a plus
