• Implement the Group’s business integrity programme in CE including:
- Implement the anti-bribery, competition law and privacy compliance programmes;
- Implement key Group policies including conflicts of interest, whistleblowing and working with other functions as required;
- Facilitate and manage the CE Risk & Compliance Committee and prepare the report from CE to the Group Risk & Compliance Committee.
• Implement local compliance programmes in order to mitigate risks specific to CE, based on the Group’s risk, controls & assurance framework.
• Provide legal advice, in consultation with external counsel and the Group Legal function, as appropriate in relation to the areas of competition law, anti-bribery and privacy.
• Support Legal Director with the conduct of internal investigations.
• Horizon-scan for emerging compliance legal risks likely to affect (business unit) in the future.
• Support Legal Director to engage with regulatory authorities relevant to the CE.
• Engage business stakeholders at all levels on issues of business integrity, including through the use of training and coaching.
