About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated operational excellence and governance manager to join our Global Governance and Customer Excellence function at iptiQ. You will have the unique opportunity to join a diverse and motivated function, committed to deliver value. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of managing iptiQ's operational risk, including ensuring operational rigor and excellence. Your role will involve ensuring consistency and alignment of risk and compliance practices and operational excellence standards across iptiQ and translate Swiss Re requirements to iptiQ context.

Your responsibilities include:
• Improving operational rigor and define strategies and approaches to manage the operational risks and good customer outcomes
• Ensuring compliance across iptiQ's operational platform and process landscape
• Driving a healthy risk culture, a customer centric culture of operational rigor and partner with iptiQ Management Team to set the right the from the top and ensure a pro-active risk and management practice
• Making sure we have the processes and procedures in place that follow Group and iptiQ standards and local regulations
• Driving operational rigor by harmonizing, ensuring consistency and re-defining specific frameworks within 1st LoD, and drive operationalization of those frameworks across the iptiQ business
• Working with the operation teams to ensure we have an effective control environment, including known risks are supervised and new risks are detected and promptly taken care of
• Establish good working relationship with the regions and 2nd line to build a robust operating platform that creates good customer outcomes and provide solid governance for iptiQ
• Conduct regular reviews to assess process efficiency, accuracy, and compliance to operational frameworks and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality metrics, monitor performance, drive continuous improvement and drive customer centric practices and processes
• In partnership with the regions, analyse and assess existing business processes with the customer in mins, identify improvement opportunities and design/ implement efficient operating models
• Orchestrate the identification of automation opportunities and partner with Technology to leverage digital tools and technologies to optimize processes, eliminate manual interventions and reduce residual risks
• Present performance findings and improvement initiatives to senior management, collaborate on decision-making processes, and engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and incorporate insights into process enhancement strategies

Personality requirements and skills

• Strong experience in operational risk management, preferably with an audit background
• Solid understanding of quality management principles, process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and regulatory compliance requirements
• A passion for achieving positive customer outcomes and a track record of designing and delivering positive customer experiences
• Strong project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to adapt communication style for impact
• High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and efficiency in all aspects of work
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in English is a requirement
