About the Role

As a Senior Operational Excellence Architect, you'll play a vital role in building and leading our Process Architecture discipline. Your expertise will drive the strategic development and execution of an Operational Maturity Assessment, ensuring the seamless documentation and execution on a global scale. You'll have the opportunity to identify and advocate for opportunities in global standardization, documentation and taking ownership of our global Operations Service Catalogues. Your contribution will be pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency and aligning with our strategic business targets through innovative process architecture, generation of data-driven insights and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaboration will be at the heart of your work, as you closely collaborate with Operational Excellence Leads, Business Process Owners, and the Business Architecture function. Together, you'll establish a cross-functional network aimed at streamlining, harmonizing, and continuously improving our global processes by identifying and implementing best practices. This requires a deep understanding of our processes and systems across different locations, enabling you to recommend and implement streamlined and optimized processes and/or systems.


Main activities:

• Building and leading the Process Architecture discipline, setting the strategic direction and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Develop and execute comprehensive evaluation of process efficiency and effectiveness across the organization (Operational Maturity Assessment).

• Take the lead in global Process Documentation and Harmonization efforts, overseeing the standardization and synchronization of process charts on a global scale. This involves promoting best practices and ensuring uniformity across all operational domains.

• Proactively identify and advocate for Global Standardization Opportunities, promoting the adoption of standardized processes to bolster operational efficiency and scalability across diverse business functions.

• Take ownership of global Operations Service Catalogues, ensuring they accurately reflect optimized processes while remaining up-to-date with evolving operational requirements.

• Foster collaboration and partnership by closely collaborating with business process owners, global line of business heads, and cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive process enhancements. Actively engage in knowledge exchange within the Process Excellence Community to foster continuous improvement.

• Conduct thorough Process Analysis and generate repeatable insights, leveraging tools such as ARIS and enterprise architecture frameworks to analyze current processes, define future states, and enable tangible improvements that drive operational excellence.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the establishment and strategic direction of our Process Architecture discipline, making a significant impact across our global operations.

Essential:

• Significant experience in Process Architecture, or equivalent architecture position with a track record of leading process design and improvement initiatives in a global context.

• Ability to develop strategic plans for the Process Architecture discipline and execute them effectively.

• Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional change initiatives with a high degree of complexity.

• Proficient use of Enterprise / Process Architecture tool and use of ARIS for process modelling and analysis.


Highly desirable:

• Commercial Insurance background

• Relevant degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• Agile, Lean or Six Sigma certification

• Management consulting experience

• Project & Change Management certifications
