About the Role

In this global role, you will oversee end-to-end core value chain processes for allocated lines of business across multiple locations, along with selected global projects. You will drive Operational Excellence through continuous improvement, partnering with business stakeholders to identify and lead cross-functional projects focusing on efficiency, process enhancement, technology, growth, and compliance to meet strategic targets.

You'll closely collaborate with Business Process Owners and Global Line of Business Heads to streamline and harmonize global processes, leveraging your expertise in process and system knowledge across locations to recommend and implement optimized processes and systems. Teamwork is vital as you engage with a diverse network of experts, contributing to initiatives aimed at standardizing processes.

Responsibilities include actively driving, proposing and defining business requirements, collaborating with IT for system improvements, leading initiative teams, planning implementations, reporting to senior management, and ensuring change management and process adherence for successful implementation.


Main activities:

Operational Excellence:

Lead global process redesign, improvement and standardization, aligning best practices worldwide and driving continuous improvement for scalable processes supporting business growth.

Propose and analyze business requirements and identify process improvement areas, documenting and diagramming current and future state processes using enterprise tools.

Ensure global standards are adhered to, collaborating with regions and implementing control and quality frameworks for effective processes.

Align global/local SOPs with functional guidelines through regional leads and collaborate with peers to integrate processes across global services.

Serve as the primary contact for process-related topics for assigned business areas.


Change Implementation:

Ensure the operational model supports client offerings across geographies and business lines, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure process understanding and adherence.

Develop and execute global/regional change management plans, fostering a culture of process adherence through tracking and monitoring, and reinforcing process adherence through planned activities.

Communicate actively with partners across regions and participate in the Operational Excellence Community to share best practices and ensure regional alignment.


Please note, relevant commercial insurance background and/or significant process reengineering/transformation experience is a must – thank you for your understanding.

Essential:

• At least 5+ years of experience in Operational Excellence/ Process Improvement/ Continuous Improvement

• Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional change initiatives with a high degree of complexity

• Hands-on project management and change management leader and driver of implementation efforts globally

• Passionate to explore new ways and challenge the status quo by continually seeking improvement opportunities

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong customer focus

• Strong analytical skills and advanced with Excel


Highly desirable:

• Commercial Insurance background

• Agile, Lean or Six Sigma certification

• Management consulting experience

• Project & Change Management certifications
