About the Role
You would be responsible for managing compliance activities in support of Group Organizational Structures and Digital projects to ensure compliance with the applicable rules and regulations to include providing compliance guidance on implementing policies and guidelines, training, and reporting. This is a role with a global scope, with focus on supporting Digital projects, and support the overall Compliance Group Framework goals, interface with Group Organizational Structures stakeholders and liaise with cross-functional Compliance team members.
• Support development and maintenance of the Compliance Program and associated Compliance Risk mitigation standards for existing and new/amended regulations including policies, guidelines, training and communication.
• Provide enabling guidance and technical expertise to Group Organizational Structures with respect to compliance requirements and implementation of the Compliance Program
• Provide support with respect to any Compliance Group Functions initiatives
• Provide compliance enabling guidance in regard to Digital projects, partnerships and joint ventures, by leading and coordinating support within Compliance
• Identify Compliance Risk exposure in Group Organizational Structures that might impact Swiss Re business and coordinate accordingly with the relevant Compliance teams (e.g. Reinsurance, CorSo, iptiQ)
• Design and conduct training on matters within Compliance Group Functions
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of Compliance Program on a continuing basis and provide assurance to Management regarding the business' implementation of the Compliance Program
• Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships with other teams, functions, and business units

We are globally responsible for providing advisory support to the Group Organizational Structures (Group Functions, Group Corporate Services, Group Digital & Technology and Global Business and Solutions). You would report to the Head of Compliance Group Function.

• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to Data Protection, International Trade Controls and Economic Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Conflict of Interests, Conduct Risk, Insider Risk.
• Solid understanding of control processes and systems
• Demonstrated Interest in Digitalization and Tech trends like Generative AI
• Fluent in English
Nice to have:
• Any additional language is a plus, e.g. German.
• Experience preferably in an insurance company
• Previous experience in digital projects
