Job description, responsibilities and duties

Join our dynamic global team, a competent data & technology partner responsible for designing and implementing innovative user journeys, data, and software products with a modern user experience for Swiss Re's underwriting and operations communities. Work alongside product owners, UX designers, technology architects, data scientists and software engineers.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

-Playing a central role in our digital transformation by identifying opportunities to leverage technology and data to enhance P&C reinsurance processes end-to-end.
-Creating comprehensive documentation for business requirements, system specifications, and process workflows.
-Streamlining underwriting processes and enhance decision-making through the analysis of workflows and data.
-Conducting thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement digital solutions aligned with business unit goals and improving overall efficiency.
-Working closely with underwriting teams to gather and document business requirements, with a focus on data-driven enhancements.
-Ensuring seamless integration of systems by collaborating with IT teams and supporting the organization's digital ecosystem.
-Effectively communicating with underwriters, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, project progress, and initiative benefits.
-Facilitating workshops and meetings to gather feedback and promote collaboration.
Training business users and supporting incident and defect resolution.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

-Team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as within a global team.

Additional Advantages

-Exposure to agile development approaches (e.g., Scrum) and familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence.
