Step into an important role as Senior Reporting Professional, where you'll play a key part in ensuring precise financial reporting under IFRS. Take ownership of coordination of projection and analysis of P&L reporting with ability to read financial statements and their impact on investments guide the way in automation initiatives, all while enjoying the freedom to tailor your work approach and location for a truly fulfilling career journey.

About the role

As Senior Reporting Professional, you will be responsible for monitoring of investment sub-ledger with focus on coordination, projection and calculation of financial assets and supporting the transition from US GAAP to IFRS in 2024.

We are multi-valuation department. What is in there for you? You will have opportunity to strengthen your knowledge of investment products, understanding of relevant accounting principles, participation on projects, implementation of theory into practise via building and testing of the newly created reports. You will work closely with partners from different Swiss Re departments and responsible for complex processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordination of projection and analysis of P&L results for BoD under IFRS
• Pricing of equity method investments according to financial statements
• Calculation and reporting of internal and external management fees
• Preparation of complementary reports for stakeholders
• Focus on strong governance environment, preparation of process manuals
• Participation on automatization and process improvement initiatives related to other activities within the team

About the team

The Global Investment Reporting department was established in 2009. We have 7 teams with more than 40 members in total.

And what we do? It might be clear from the name: investment reporting. Our investments range from fixed income securities and listed equities through more interesting products such as private equity investments, hedge funds and derivatives. However, we are not only responsible for accounting & reporting of investments. We are also in charge of many projects, reviewing accounting standards and doing process innovations.

Essentials
• University degree with degree in Accounting or Finance/Banking/Economics
• 3-5 years of Finance experience or (exposure to investments is an advantage)
• Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standard
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Very good comprehension of MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Proactive problem-solving approach with open-minded thinking
