Join a team of experts and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient! As the Operational Resilience Manager, you'll be tasked with working with business units and cross-functional teams to identify and safeguard our critical business services. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

About the team

The Operational Resilience team leads the implementation and evolution of Operational Resilience at Swiss Re. We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced business continuity or operational resilience practitioner to help steer and drive this topic.

In your role, you will…

- Contribute to the creation of regulatory compliant policies, standards, and models related to Operational Resilience
- Perform analysis of end-to-end value chains, including identification of single points of failure and interdependencies, and determining risk tolerances
- Plan, coordinate, and lead scenario testing (severe but plausible exercises) for specific business services, and capture and challenge disruption tolerance levels
- Prepare periodic reports and critical metrics
- Identify developments in the risk and regulatory landscape and assist in developing mitigation strategies

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

What we need from you

- Background in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management, or IT Disaster Recovery
- Experience in programme development and creation of policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and with a high level of autonomy
- Comfortable working with all levels of management
- Excellent written and spoken English

Nice-to-have

- Previous roles in operational risk management, internal/external audit, or compliance
- Agile methodology project management
- Team management experience
- CBCI or equivalent business continuity qualification
