We are looking for graduates with strong interpersonal skills, who are eager to learn, broaden their knowledge and expertise and want to make a difference. You have a Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree with up to 3 years professional experience – we invite you to apply to our graduates@swissre programme 2024.

Over an 18-month period, you will receive on- and off-the-job training, including a job rotation that gives you the opportunity to work across different lines of business and departments.

About the role

The main focus of our team is placed on IFRS accounting standards roll out on local as well as global level for whole Swiss Re Group. We are partnering with SAP to develop solutions based on the latest S/4 Hana in-memory technology. To meet challenges on the way, we have implemented a new general ledger, insurance and asset sub-ledgers, cost accounting and reporting solutions.

As our Graduate, you will be working with different project teams to analyze business processes & requirements, specify IT solutions, and work with development teams to deliver these solutions.

About the team

We are diverse and dynamic department, operating in Agile way of working with full ownership for the product from the beginning to its completion. Our IT teams are based across the world - in India, Switzerland, Poland and Slovakia.

You will join us from Bratislava, and will mostly support local internal customers, but also those based in Switzerland.

• Successfully completed university degree in Computer Science or equivalent (e.g. mathematics, physics, and engineering). Additional Finance or Accounting training is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Outstanding interpersonal skills allowing you to actively contribute to the team spirit as well as effectively connect with people in multinational environments
• Strong motivation to learn SAP technology stack (S/4 Hana, SAP FI/CO, SAC, DWC)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture
• Innovative, showing a high degree of own initiative, able to quickly assimilate to new knowledge, passionate about exploring new ways
• Able to articulate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
