Main duties:
· Lead and coordinate the Governance workstream on behalf of Finance in a global project
· Ensure right control- and quality framework is in place to gain efficiencies
· Drive the risk assessments for strategic transformation initiatives, such as USGAAP to IFRS transformation
· Propose, design, and implement new digital processes and tools to improve the finance journey for all partners involved
· Provide transparency on progress by actively communicating with all involved partners across regions
· Be in charge of managing the change of controls environment
· Consult on audit advisory matters (both internally and externally) such as transparency towards assurance functions

About the Team
Our team Group Finance Governance belongs to the Group Finance Division. Our team provides insight and advice on risk and control related matters by linking finance and risk knowledge and understanding of end to end of financial reporting processes. We support various stakeholders to maintain the system of internal processes, risks, and controls environment as fundamental for compliance with the financial reporting standards and facilitation of audit performance results. We are responsible for implementation of IFRS governance framework, including automation and optimalisation of the current control environment.

Personality requirements and skills

Who are we looking for:
• University degree in Economics/Finance with strong risk advisory background is required
• 7 years+ experience in financial reporting or audit
• IFRS knowledge (IFRS 9 & IFRS 17) and project management experience is an advantage
• You can coach and mentor other colleagues (peer coaching)
• Strong analytical skills to resolve complex queries
• Your English is excellent (written and spoken)
• You have a commercial & consulting approach to challenge the statues quo and understanding of business partners' needs
