Job description, responsibilities and duties
Join a team of cybersecurity professionals and help Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. As the Business Analyst, you'll own the analysis of business processes, ensuring they are continually optimized and implemented into new solutions. What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.
About the team
The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, the SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) Solutions team is responsible for the correct implementation of SaaS offerings inside our organization. We are looking for a self-starter who is happy to challenge the status quo of existing processes, one who'd like to improve their efficiency and effectiveness and develop the solutions supporting them.
In your role, you will…
- Perform requirements analysis, record and communicate these requirements in an understandable way for the corresponding stakeholder groups
- Continually deliver and share ideas to create, improve, and simplify our processes
- Understand the Identity and Access Management landscape at Swiss Re and collaborate with other teams in order for our squad to achieve its goals
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Perform user acceptance testing
- Create and maintain documentation

What we need from you
- Passion, drive and a belief in the value of performing business analysis as an enabler of business performance
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT business analysis
- Experience with analysis and data modelling in complex corporate environments
- The ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders effectively – from internal customers to software vendors
- Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
Nice-to-have
- Past experience as a software developer is a plus
- Past experiences with SaaS solutions like ServiceNow or - security solutions like Sailpoint IIQ
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, an MBA or comparable knowledge
- Experience of working in an Agile organization
