About the Role

As an experienced Scrum Master, you will work with your product squads and improve agile team maturity. You are eager to be a change agent who helps team members to challenge their status quo and builds a culture of continuous improvement. You are knowledgeable in Scrum and enjoy mentoring and educating others. You help maintaining a safe environment where people can grow and thus become more effective as a team. Together with the Product Owner and the Tech Lead you are a part of the shared leadership team.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate and participate in all relevant Scrum events of multiple product squads
Advance your Scrum teams in using the Agile methodology and Scrum practices
Remove impediments and ensure timely sprint deliveries and achieving sprint goals
Support Product Owner in prioritizing the Product backlog
Foster self-organizing teams, collaboration and knowledge sharing
Identify continuous improvement opportunities, be that technical, process-related or of interpersonal nature
Coordinate dependencies with partners (other squads and business/group-wide IT collaborators)
Support and promote an effective feedback culture based on the Scrum values
Train, coach and mentor squad members

Personality requirements and skills

About You

You have a track record of being an effective scrum master for client facing product development teams. You enjoy working with significant independence as part of a distributed team to tackle business problems. You will be expected to lead product development squads which are typically multi-disciplinary in nature.

Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of requirements. If you however meet some of the criteria below, we will be happy to meet you.

Required to succeed in this role:

-Very good knowledge of different Agile frameworks with practical experience working as a Scrum Master
-Strong background in crafting impactful, self-organizing Agile teams
-Facilitation, conflict resolution, communication and relationship building skills
-Are willing to lead, direct, and coach squad members without formal management authority
-Dedicated, innovative and collaborative in nature
-Are passionate and want to inspire and motivate others
-Have excellent verbal and written English skills

Optional criteria which will be an advantage for you:

-Experience in Data and Analytics area
Scrum Certification
-General programming experience
-Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in information systems, computer science or related field
