Are you an IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Coordinator with a passion for accelerating resiliency and seeking the opportunity to work for a well-respected and established company in the reinsurance industry? We are looking for a DR Coordinator to drive the execution of the Groups IT DR Plans and monitor the Testing Lifecycle. You will work with a diverse team of versatile professionals supporting with developing, implementing and testing disaster recovery plans, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure that recovery efforts are timely and effective.

As the Coordinator you collaborate closely with the ITSCM Capability Lead.
You are responsible for the run-part of the IT Continuity squad to guarantee a mature and proficient IT DR Plan and Exercise Preparedness posture.
In alignment with the ITSCM Capability Lead you ensure that DR Tests are not only driven timely, but also successfully. You are in constant exchange with the stakeholders to ensure that testing is improved, and results are matching with what has been designed in the plans. You also supervise daily IT Operations (e.g. Major Incidents) to ensure that new risks are included in the DR plans and upcoming test cycles.

About the Team
-Sitting in the new Cognitive Service Management product area, the ITSCM Governance & Process squad is a multi-national team that aims to provide a one-stop shop offering comprehensive ITSCM services.

We develop and maintain IT Continuity, Resilience and DR capabilities to mitigate the risk of unavailability and restoring Critical IT Services in the event of a major disruption and enabling a prioritized recovery with minimal impact to Swiss Re's business processes. Our team ensures that these measures are efficiently embedded within the organization and consider modern best in class operating models and tech environments (Cloud, SaaS, DevOps, IaC).

We want to achieve this mission by:
-Maintaining an effective ITSCM framework providing group-wide direction, implementation oversight and advice, supporting Business Continuity Management, safeguarding the critically important interests of partners, customers, reputation, brand and value-creating activities.
-Partnering up in trusted relationships with Group and Business Domain teams, presenting a central entry point for ITSCM relevant topics and guidance while encouraging a strong ITSCM mentality and culture throughout the company.
-Establishing an integrated view and visibility on ITSCM requirements and implications on IT Services, mapped to Business deliverables defined in the Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
-Implementing sustainable DR -strategies, plans, -trainings and -tests, whilst ensuring these are successfully embedded and maintained.
-Generating insights helping to understand required configuration management across application services, led shared infrastructure-, middleware- and cloud- services.

About you

We are happy to meet you if you possess:
-Excellent communication and management skills, with the ability to optimally connect with both technical and non-technical audiences
-Experience working with a variety of teams and stakeholders and good coordination
-Proficiency in English
-A degree in related field or proven experience of business domain.
-Qualifications or ability to demonstrate BCM, IT Continuity and DR knowledge.
-3-7 years' experience in disaster recovery, emergency management, or related field
-Strong technical expertise in IT disaster recovery, including experience developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and strategies
-Sound technical understanding of Core Infrastructure-, Management-, Middleware- and CSP Services.
-Passion about Agile principles and are excited to embed them into your daily work
-A continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to uncovering better ways of working "CAN DO" mentality and willingness to learn new technologies to continuously upskill
-Ability to prioritize and apply sound commercial judgment
