About iptiQ
iptiQ is a risk tech start-up within Swiss Re Group. Swiss Re is one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer. We anticipate and manage a wide variety of risks, from natural catastrophes and climate change to cybercrime.
iptiQ provides digital, bespoke and transparent L&H and P&C protection products in a B2B2C manner. Founded in 2014, we're transforming the way consumers buy insurance with a unique digital insurance engine which incorporates the latest technology with world-class underwriting capabilities. We build strong partnerships to sell insurance via trusted brands.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to join a new business unit within an established company, combining the dynamic spirit of a start-up with the backing of Swiss Re's strong organization. We are a young and motivated team, organized to provide creative solutions for insurance distributors that engage with consumers in non-traditional ways.
We are searching for a specialist who will be a member of our newly built Commission & Reconciliation team dealing with the commission calculation and reconciliation of payments which are subsequently impacting the commission statements and commission reports. You will collaborate closely with the Finance, Technology and Operations teams.
As a Commission & Reconciliation Associate you will:
• process day-to-day tasks affecting the commission statements and commission pay-outs to distribution partners as per the contract with the distribution partners and in line with the service level agreements committed to our business partners
• be responsible for controlling, analysis and driving the corrective actions related to commissions processing for distribution partners
• be a part of the team defining the rules and processes for the commission processing, including the controls for commission calculations and payments to mitigate the operational, financial and reputational risks of the company
• be empowered to perform the commission corrections in case of systems failures or errors
• be responsible for the constant improvement and automation of the processes
• work closely with the business owners, business architects and distribution partners
