About the role

You will mainly perform financial reporting internal controls testing by reviewing front-to-back processes and controls. You will have the opportunity to get to know many areas of Swiss Re and learn about their processes and controls.

In this role you will work on topics that have material organizational impact and drive the risk culture of Swiss Re.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing procedures on internal controls over financial reporting across various areas
• Document your testing procedures and present findings to the relevant stakeholders
• Engage with various stakeholders across the business representing the team

Personality requirements and skills

We are looking for an inspiring person who is curious, delivery-oriented and a team-player, and is able to think creatively and critically and generate innovative ideas and can also communicate effectively and deliver in ambiguous situations.

You are passionate about innovation and transformation including data analytics.


Essentials:

- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the Financial Services sector, with exposure to finance, actuarial science, or assurance functions
- Good understanding of key business processes and controls


Nice to Haves

- Prior experience in risk management, internal or external audit
- Knowledge and experience with IFRS 9 and/or 17
- Qualified or working towards a CPA, CA, CIA professional certification or having passed several actuarial exams
