As IT Governance & Cyber Risk Manager for Swiss Re, you will be in the Digital Risk & Control team responsible for first-line IT Governance, Risk and Control activities within the Chief Security Office – ensuring risks are identified, controls applied, and reported to our technology and business leaders.
Our team is responsible for driving transparency and continuous improvement in our digital operations and risk-taking activities globally and for all lines of business across Swiss Re . What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.

In your role, you will…
• Be part of the CSO Digital Risk & Control team
• Drive the implementation of the digital risk topics for our Security Team
• Be the specialist which ensures operational threats and risks are understood and controls are designed and operating effectively
• Embed controls into operational procedures by working with our digital teams to automate, measure performance, and continuously improve our risk position
• Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and policies – making sure we meet our risk appetite and driving corrective actions where opportunities exist
• Establish operational transparency and reporting with continuous monitoring and assessment of controls

About the team

Your team is the focal point for Risk & Control-related activities within the Group Security Domain of Swiss Re, supporting all business activities – including enterprise technology, corporate insurance, reinsurance, asset management, finance, and our portfolio of digital SaaS (software-as-a-service) solutions. You will be integral to driving our risk culture which prides itself on robust risk management and having integrity in everything we do.

Your qualifications

• Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of technology risk management as an enabler of business performance
• The ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders effectively – from the Executive Management level to IT development teams
• Experience in IT governance-related roles, such as IT audit, operational risk management, and cyber security
• Appropriate professional qualifications (e.g., CISA or similar,)
• A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, and composure under pressure
• Good communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
