About the role

Are you passionate about VAT and technology? Would you like to be at the forefront of our technological automation? Do you want to work in a team with strong links to colleagues in other locations?
This role features preparation of VAT returns for some European countries for submission to tax authorities, as well as providing input into IT transformation projects.

What does the role offer?
• Prepare VAT returns, Annual VAT adjustments and reconciliation
• Review and prepare reports to ensure VAT has been correctly accounted for and reported.
• Contribution to automation of compliance processes and harmonization across regions
• Ensure payments and receipts are booked, and VAT postings are completed and reconciled.
• Creation of quarterly journals, ensuring VAT is posted to the appropriate account, cost center and entity.
• Process payment requests
• Actively look for and support the implementation of improvements to the way we do things
• Perform other position related tasks as required by manager.
In addition, you will:
• Get exposed and learn new tools (e.g. Alteryx, RPA)
• Help support the group's finance transformation and automation projects
• Work in very friendly and encouraging team of VAT professionals
