About the Role

You will be part of the iptiQ Data & Analytics team in a dynamic environment. The primary focus of your role will be to ingest internal and external data, monitor the quality of data, examine complex data, resolve data quality problems and provide actionable data reporting and insights to iptiQ businesses. The position offers great opportunities for learning and progression in an exciting, challenging and global environment.

Your tasks will be:

• Support the team to operate our data platform and to ingest our partners data
• Investigate data related issues and work closely with our partners to implement corrections
• Continuously monitor and improve data quality and enhance data validation processes
• Provide access to essential data sets and reports, advise on appropriate data usage
• Build trust-based relationships with internal and external data suppliers
• Support infrastructure change projects & new partners onboarding with requirements, documentation and testing
• Maintain data management policies & procedures and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity and efficiency of processing
• Communicate with business users and key stakeholders ensuring transparency on data management responsibilities
• Make recommendations to improve efficiency and quality of data management procedures; collaborate with database developers to improve systems and database designs.
• Manage own workload effectively to achieve agreed service/ business standards
• Undertake effectively the necessary learning to develop current and new areas of competence

iptiQ Life & Health EMEA is a corporate Start-up part of Swiss Re Group, one of the world's leading providers of reinsurance and insurance. iptiQ is established to deliver creative protection solutions sold to consumers through Distribution Partners. Our team delivers the data management, engineering and analytics capabilities to drive forward this new business, while working closely with the rest of the Swiss Re Group.

Personality requirements and skills

About You

• Degree or background in Computer Science, Engineering or quantitative field (a Bachelor's degree would be a plus but is not required);
• Tech savvy, able to adapt and learn quickly; passionate about technology
• Some previous experience or exposure with data management, processing or analysis
• Comfortable working with at least one data or analysis language (e.g., SQL, Python)
• Ability to work with large data sets, investigate data issues and extrapolate conclusions
• Committed to quality, attention to detail and solution oriented
• Ambitious, proactive, highly organized and efficient, setting adequate priorities
• English is iptiQ's business language and therefore essential.
