Job description, responsibilities and duties

Are you knowledgeable in Scrum and enjoy working with teams to help them continuously improve and deliver at their best? You will work with Squads, Product Owners, and Product Area Leads to maintain and further grow a safe environment where teams can be satisfied and efficient. You will support the squads by facilitating various Scrum ceremonies enabling the team to increase the agile team maturity.

On this role you:
- Coordinate events, build and support communities
- Moderate and facilitate agile events, such as planning workshops, reviews or retrospectives. Enable teams to run events autonomously
- Accompany teams at various stages of their Agile journey, identify and address impediments
- Increase agile awareness, help crafting an agile demeanour
- Foster and promote feedback culture based on Agile values
- Maintain and support improvement of cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with business analysts, software developers, architects, testers, programme coordinators and agile leaders

About the Team

The Olympus Programme is a multi-year program, which will transform and harmonize the financial accounting and reporting platform and operating model for the three Swiss Re Business Units: Reinsurance, Corporate Solutions and IptiQ. The programme consists of a number of projects including financial reporting and analysis, one common general ledger (SAP) and a market leading approach to multi-valuation insurance accounting (SAP Financial Products Sub-Ledger – FPSL). Using this cutting-edge technology, we are enabling the implementation of both the IFRS Local and Group Financial reporting as well as other integrated valuations. Information about the selection process

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 3200 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

About you
Do you consider the agile way as strategically critical to business? Does mentoring the attitude in teams and its ecosystem and removing roadblocks preventing the agile way of working make you feel fulfilled?

Then this role may be for you! We are looking for someone who:

- Has university degree in applied sciences, engineering or business
- Demonstrates proficiency in Scrum and/or Kanban (e.g. PSM I/II) or demonstrates equivalent knowledge. Experience in applying SCRUM at scale (i.e. SAFe or equivalent) is an advantage
- Has facilitation, leadership and relationship building skills
- Has experience in building teams and driving continuous improvement and self-organisation within a squad
- Is a great teammate, able to work independently with an innovative mentality
- Has work experience in project work and liaising with various stakeholders, collaborating closely with various functions such as IT, Finance, Actuaries
- Has experience with JIRA
- Has experience in coaching, training or mentoring
- Has experience in finance and accounting, i.e. understanding of accounting standards is an advantage
- Has excellent verbal and written command of English (other language is desirable, German would be advantageous)
- Has minimum acumen on technical solutions and services
