Imagine how many applications, vendors and service providers a global reinsurance company needs in order to do a various business all over the globe. How the access to thousands of applications is managed, how information confidentiality, availability and integrity is ensured and how cyber risk related to third parties is managed while at the same time complying to all external and internal regulations?
As a Cyber Security Intern you will get the opportunity to understand a variety of business in our company. You will be responsible for executing operating processes and helping us with collecting, reviewing and analyzing different information and data about related to Identity & Access Management processes and Third Party Cyber Risk Management.
What will you do in detail?
- You execute operating processes such as access reviews, data review and analysis, comparing different sets of data, quality checks
- You work with Swiss Re's core systems for managing the identity and access life-cycle
- You communicate with our customers and provide support with our services
- You collaborate closely with our global team to gain knowledge and exchange knowhow
- You evaluate alternative options and solutions and bring in ideas for continuous improvement of our processes and services

We are a multi-national team of passionate Access Management and Cyber Security experts serving our clients all over the world.
We ensure convenient access to Swiss Re's internal information whilst following regulatory necessities and driving technical innovation.
Identity and Access Management (IAM) ensures that business data and application is only accessible by the intended recipients, while supporting access patterns which are as intuitive & convenient as possible. IAM is doing so by providing the vital technical capabilities and runtime systems for the entire Swiss Re Group. The two most important customer segments within the Swiss Re Group are in this context the internal end user community, and the partially outsourced IT community.
Third Party Cyber Risk Management (TPCRM) ensures third party cyber risks are managed and potential security risks made transparent. We work together with our partners from business and directly with the third parties to identify cyber risks and try to mitigate them. Monitoring and assessing of key third parties is a legal and regulatory requirement in several jurisdictions in the world.

- You are a student with solid IT skills gained either in school or by experience
- Proficient in spoken and written English - Upper intermediate (B2)

- You have good general IT knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python or knowledge of other programming languages is a plus
