About the Role

Would you like to learn more about Public-Private Partnerships and work with a global team that wants to make a difference in the world? Swiss Re Public Sector Solutions partners with governments, NGOs and multilateral development banks. As a Business Analyst you will work in a multifaceted and international environment.


Your responsibilities


Data insights: Help others make most of our data


• You are intellectually curious and will identify external trends, search for what our competitors do, spot new products on the markets and share this with our internal colleagues
• You are experienced in using Excel (or Power BI) will combine data from different sources to come up with interesting insight.
• You enjoy a good challenge and will partner with various stakeholders to dive into new topics.
• You partner with the Market Coordinators in all regions to analyze the notes that our Client Managers took in discussions with their clients.
• You will be a sparring partner to colleagues across the globe and help them keep our deals pipeline up to date


Project management and leadership: Run the show and drive outcome


• You will work hand-in-hand with a cross-functional project team that is located in different regions to help them implement our strategic initiatives.
• You are the project manager of our IDF initiatives. This involves partnering with senior colleagues on identifying the scope, plan for key milestones, get busy people on-board, organize and moderate meetings, track budget and deliverables.
• You apply your negotiation and influencing skills to push things over the finish line. You will be the key person to the success of those strategic initiatives!


Communication


• You partner with your colleagues from Strategy & Operations in delivering our various communication activities, including internal and external webinars, newsletters, Linkedin posts, news articles etc.
• You are excited about effective communication come up with ideas to further our share of voice. You discuss your ideas with key people and help them make it happen.



About the Team


Public Sector Solutions develops insurance concepts together with the public sector, including sovereign and sub-sovereign governments, NGOs, and development banks. We access Swiss Re's full product range to reduce the public sector's contingent liabilities. Solutions include non-traditional risk transfer products, such as parametric natural catastrophe solutions and weather-based insurance or traditional insurance and reinsurance products such as liability coverages and life and health reinsurance. Public Sector Solutions works directly with governments and public sector entities, through development institutions as well as through conventional insurance channels such as local insurance companies and brokers.
