Job description, responsibilities and duties

Are you passionate about bringing to life digital transformation within Communications? Do you want to be part of an inspiring journey to further drive and refine Swiss Re's digital media strategy, especially on the website? If you consider yourself a creative and experienced digital communicator, we have a multifaceted role for you.

You will be working in the Digital Media &Technology Team responsible to further develop and maintain Swiss Re's external digital channels with a focus on the external website. You will work closely with various Group Communications and Technology teams to support publishing and developing our external websites -always having our external audiences and their needs in mind.

To succeed in this role you should be an expert user of content management systems. Experience in SharePoint and Magnolia are welcomed as well as technical knowledge in areas such as HTML, CSS, Javascript or using code-generating programs, Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Fireworks or equivalents. The job requires familiarity with development cycles and working in agile setup.

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Experience in a larger company,
- An educational background in digital media or communications
- Practical experience in using digital tools and platforms, especially Content Management Systems
- Experience in digital publishing, bug reporting and testing
- Understanding UX design and digital marketing processes
- Experience with agile project management software such as Jira
- Sound business judgement
- A high level of accuracy
- Stamina and persistence to pursue new ideas
