About the team
Our Regional Sourcing EMEA Team is accountable for end-to-end sourcing activities across all categories of spend cross-divisionally in the EMEA region and development of Regional Strategy in alignment with global Category Strategies. Along with its Regional business partners and through established Sourcing networks, this team executes the strategy to deliver value, improve quality, optimize cost and mitigate risk in the supply chain.
About the role
Accountable for building, implementation and centralizing the execution as well as continual improvement of central sourcing services through activities such as but not limited to:
Drive and execute on all activities that are crucial for the successful implementation of the central sourcing services
Lead the set-up of the centralized execution of the central sourcing services
Drive optimization activities for the implemented central sourcing services whilst focusing on improvement of service efficiency and effectiveness
Develop and lead all aspects of the service governance as well as lead the resolution of any related issues
Ensure the delivery of services in high quality standards that meet the internal customer's requirements and needs
Own the development of appropriate service Playbook and service catalogue including the long-term plan how to grow and scale for new services
Accountable for the collection and consolidation of central sourcing services data, information and reporting to populate the KPIs and Balanced Scorecard Targets
Accountable for communication of the changes related to the central sourcing services to relevant business partners/users
Responsible for maintaining the relationships with key business partners
Responsible for developing the Regional Sourcing network while ensuring effective collaboration across Global Sourcing
Responsible for monitoring compliance as well as enforcing sourcing standards.

About you
Bachelor’s degree required at a minimum; in fields such as business administration, finance, law or a scientific or technical field. Strong preference for CIPS or similar professional qualification
Ideally, you will have five (5) years of Sourcing/Procurement experience in the insurance, re-insurance or financial services industry
Proficiency in executing on pragmatic solutions in collaboration with the business to advance business priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrate behaviours consistent with Swiss Re's personal imperatives with a focus on driving sustainable performance and continuous improvement.
Excellent English, other language desirable
