Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced data education architect, consultant and translator to join our Center of Expertise (CoE) for data insights. The team consists of various data professionals who support the transformation of Swiss Re and the commercial insurance industry to become tech enabled and data driven.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Identifying data knowledge gaps and data education needs through in-depth research, including consultation with internal partners
• Development and evolution of our data education framework and shape curriculums, learning modules and education products together with internal partners
• Researching evaluating, sourcing and utilizing verified information and content to build and enhance education modules
• Writing, editing and structuring education modules in a way that addresses the needs and format of delivery
• Agile project management working with cross-functional and/or virtual teams, assuring results align with business requirements, leading retros and backlog prioritization
• Independently handle portfolios of analytics projects while guiding and supporting data scientists in project steering, success evaluation and partner management

The CoE supports CorSo's business and group functions and clients in encouraging an open and trustworthy data culture and mentality. We are working with our business to implement CorSo's Data Analytics strategy by generating outstanding insights, improving operational efficiency and developing new technology driven value propositions. With our digital and data-savviness balanced with customer-centric soft skills and a dedication, we will identify & drive opportunities with the greatest impact for CorSo's data journey. We will contribute to crafting CorSo's Data Culture by embedding cultural and mindset aspects, like inspiration, education, training, passion and engagement into business, ideation and project delivery. As a Data Education Architect, you will work and interact directly with data scientists, data engineers and business specialists from around the globe.

We are happy to meet you if you possess:

• A university degree with a focus on one of the following: computer science, business administration, economics, data science, finance or another related field
• Demonstrable experience as a Data Content Developer, Learning Designer, Instructional Designer, Education facilitator or Curriculum Developer
• Knowledge of data and digital trend topics as well the insurance industry (experience in reinsurance is a plus)
• Hands-on experience in workshop facilitation, design thinking and assimilation of complex topics
• Ability to explain complex problems with clarity and simplicity, with a consistent record of explaining data topics to specialists and non-technical audiences, including leaders of all levels
• On tune with appropriate assessment procedures for quality and efficiency of education modules
• Key interests in all data, tech and digital topics
• Strategic problem solver with a track-record of creative problem-solving as well as openness and curiosity to learn and 'can do' attitude
• Outstanding English language skills, other languages (e.g. German, Spanish, Chinese and others) are a plus
