iptiQ EMEA L&H sits within Swiss Re's iptiQ Division; established to deliver white-label life insurance solutions sold through our partners, directly to consumers. We are a dynamic, motivated and technology driven team, organised to provide creative life insurance solutions and engage with consumers in innovative ways. Through our strong operational infrastructure, creative thinking, insurance know-how and ecommerce competences we want to drive the digitalization of the life insurance business in Europe.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Finance Professional in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in iptiQ EMEA L&H. Working closely with the Valuation and Accounting teams, amongst many others and exposure to senior stakeholders within the Business Unit. Your focus will cover the management of our Economic Valuation Framework (EVM) & US GAAP results. You will preferably be based in Bratislava, but we will consider candidates in other European cities that we operate from.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

- Ownership and coordination of end-to-end EVM process and presentation to iptiQ
- Monthly forecast of the EVM & US GAAP results and presentation to the relevant stakeholders as well as ad hoc reporting and business performance analysis
- Support financial planning and analysis in coordination with key function holders and related entities within Group
- Establishing reliable and efficient processes, drive operational excellence to improve quality and reduce operational risk
- Engaging with a wide range of colleagues to support the operating entity and iptiQ in achieving its strategic priorities and financial targets

Requirements for the employee

Personality requirements and skills

About You

- You have a strong understanding of the L&H insurance / reinsurance sector, preferably with a direct insurer of L&H risk products.
- You are a professionally qualified accountant or have an equivalent education (BA, MA) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry,
- You identify and drive continuous improvement in processes, systems and outputs.
- Confident communication with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with data and systems to apply good business judgement as well as independently deliver timely and impactful outputs.
- Your command of English is excellent.
