Job description, responsibilities and duties

As part of the CISO office, you will work with various partners across the company to maintain and advance our capability to collect, process, visualise, understand and interpret cyber security performance and key risk indicators. In addition, you will provide data-based insights on both the operational and strategic level. Activities you´ll perform:

- Analyze the reporting requirements and underlying raw-data
- Design the reporting logic and visual according the identified needs (backend & frontend)
- Cooperate with requestor and other technical teams on data integration into reporting data-lake
- Build new reports, perform regular updates and maintain existing reports
- Define and execute the overall process of reporting lifecycle
- Continuously advance the reporting process by extending its features, improving efficiency and quality (i.e. quality assurance, automation)
- Propose and develop new ways and metrics to measure the efficiency of Swiss Re's cyber defence capabilities

About the Team

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) function is the principal point for cyber and information security activities across Swiss Re. We have the role to supervise security governance, risk and compliance, define and advance the company's cyber security concepts as well as carry out the implementation of necessary security capabilities. You are a part of a small team located in Bratislava, however cooperating across the globe with your colleagues and internal customers.

About You

Are you ready to develop creative solutions to measure and communicate the security performance of a large international corporation within a dynamic and complex threat landscape?

Your skills comprise:

- Ability to analyze and gather requirements
- Experience with data analysis
- Experience with SQL or DAX (query data, create calculations...)
- Understand basic relational databases concepts
- Experience with visual reporting tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, any other)
- Understand ans solve technical challenges creatively
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic understanding of the technical layer of Information Security is a plus
