Main tasks
-Execute the quarterly close of the US-GAAP and local financial statements by monitoring the closing process and performing quality assurance activities
-Support external audit activities and prepare requested information in connection with internal audits
-Prepare on a quarterly or annually basis qualitative reporting to senior management or other internal clients on all valuations as well as reporting to regulatory bodies or other governing authorities on local accounting standards
-Contribute to improve processes and systems to ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements, and also to meet internal management expectations.


About the team
We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated Reporting & Analysis Specialist to join one of our Carrier Reporting & Analysis Services teams. Jointly and in close collaboration with Carrier teams in Switzerland and Luxembourg, these teams will play a pivotal Finance role in the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial information for all valuations for two of the biggest legal entities of Swiss Re.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

We would be happy to meet candidates with:
-University degree preferably in finance/accounting/economics and with 1-3 years of relevant working experience
-Knowledge and experience in the preparation of complex financial statements, ideally in the financial industry
-Experience in financial reporting focused on timely delivery and high quality of output
-Excellent command of the English language
-Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex details
-Stress resistant and able to deal with tight deadlines
-Strong customer focus
-Intercultural competencies and the ability to understand complex processes. Keen to learn and quickly and efficiently adapt to changes
