About the role
You as a Sourcing Specialist (SP) will bring experienced sourcing and procurement services to internal customers in EMEA region primarily, in area of Professional Services & HR Services (PS&HR) as well Property and Business Services (P&BS). You will support a variety of initiatives to reduce costs and support sourcing processes that improve the quality of goods and services provided to internal customers by third parties and work to ensure that all vendors serving Swiss Re help the organization meet its business goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handle/support commercial negotiations for assigned business cases
• Manage the contract process, conduct legal reviews and necessary due diligence as assigned
• Execute comprehensive RFx process and support internal customers in timely manner
• Management of suppliers within supported categories and commodities, e.g. recruiting, consulting, contractors, learning and development, employee benefits, international assignees, hard and soft facility services, real estate, utilities, postage, document management, food and beverages, travel&events etc. (including contract negotiations, supplier evaluation and development, vendor management, necessary due diligence etc.)
• Review and approve purchase orders in internal systems; ensure that correct contract and contract conditions are in place
• Support the Category and Regional Manager in developing the demand forecast for the sourcing category

About the team
You will be part of the EMEA Regional Sourcing Team in Bratislava, a unit within Global Business Solutions. Sourcing is a global Team spread across the globe with access to the global Sourcing Network and exposure to global, regional and local Stakeholders. We collaborate with Category and Regional Sourcing in area of PS&HR Services and P&B Services.

Personality requirements and skills

About You
• You have a bachelor’s or master´s degree preferably economics or business administration.
• You have around 3-4 years of experience in sourcing of PS&HR services, partially in P&B services (Facility) in a global organization with multi-million Euro contracts.
• You have strong negotiations skills and can demonstrate focused delivery of significant cost savings/service improvements in assigned Sourcing category.
• You have good knowledge of PS&HR players as well as Facility vendors, key market trends, commercial drivers, cost levers in mentioned categories and commodities.
• You are experienced in negotiating commercially and contractually with global vendors.
• You have hands-on procure to pay process experience (Requirements Gathering, Market Analysis, Vendor Evaluations, Due Diligence, Risk Assessment, Commercial & Contractual negotiations etc.)
• You have excellent verbal and written command of English (other language is desirable, German would be advantageous)
• You have perfect stakeholder management skills and the ability build, maintain and grow relationships in a virtual environment.
• You are naturally proactive, a problem solver, able to navigate ambiguity and focused on customer outcomes.
