About the role

This is an exciting growth opportunity to join the DOO for L&H Products and work closely with the L&H Products Leadership team. Are you curious and self-motivated, passionate about shaping and executing a large organization's communication strategy to support their development, helping L&H reinsurance writing their success story and closing the protection gap?

Our jobs are never quite done nor the same: above all in this role you will have a wide range of tasks at hand, often running in parallel, with shifting priorities, requiring agility, flexibility, good self-organizing and communication skills. You will:

- Develop, implement and manage an integrated communication strategy and messages for the Head of L&H Products and his division to steer high impact communication initiatives.
- Build content for communication, both in writing and various digital channels including video formats.
- Closely engage and interact with Group communications and other functions to leverage existing campaigns and deliver on joint communications.
- Research information and translate content in meaningful messages including visualization. Craft slide decks, minutes and other documents to prepare key management presentations, committee material and client presentations.
- Co-design, administrate and organize events, activities and projects across L&H Products including content, logistics, participation and media coverage and frequently interact with executives, working alongside the sponsors or the champions of initiatives and projects.
- Help set and deliver on L&H Products and DOO priorities, which we collectively define, manage and monitor. Proactively reach out and support each other in the team beyond the areas of personal strengths and preferences.

This role will evolve over time, which means there will be opportunities to stretch and grow depending on your ability to deliver and learn.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

Minimum base salary for this job from 2500 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.

Personality requirements and skills

About You

- You have a very good understanding of Swiss Re and the L&H organization including a sound understanding of our business.
- You have a proven experience in positions requiring a strong understanding of communication, digital media and platforms.
- You have a good financial acumen and an analytical mindset - you can use Excel to analyze and visualize the results.
- Committed, dedicated and trustworthy. We count on your integrity in dealing with highly confidential information.
- You have strong problem solving and good project management skills. You're a professional user of MO 360 and will continuously drive efficiency and quality assurance sharing your knowledge in the team.
- You can work in a fast pace environment with people from different backgrounds - you are used to different styles, preferences and cultures and have a willingness to reach out to new people and quickly build relationships.
- You don’t shy away from problems and/or conflicts and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.
- You have an excellent command of English and possess very good communication and influencing skills (written and verbal incl PowerPoint) that you easily leverage with stakeholders and senior management. Other languages are a plus.
