In the role of Sourcing Execution Manager ITD, your main tasks will include:
- Plan and lead category initiatives for IT and Data Sourcing (ITD) cross-divisionally within EMEA
- Provide high quality and cost-effective services from the vendors.
- Co-develop the EMEA and ITD Category strategies through consolidation, sharing and effective collaboration of vendor, market, category and internal business data and information.
- Deliver sourcing projects, specify and manage demand as well as execute on vendor management aligned with the Vendor Management Framework
- Ensure efficient service delivery that meets or exceeds expectations of our internal partners by developing service levels and quality processes
- Mitigate any operational, financial and reputational risk to Swiss Re
- Assure compliance with and implementation of the Global Sourcing regulations with the associated guidance
- Communicate with senior partners for various sourcing initiatives
- In addition, you will be expected to lead and support your team in its career and personal development and make sure the necessary resources, information and tools are in place for project execution. You will provide improvement and growth opportunities to your team members and inspire them to get engaged with continual improvement initiatives.

About the team
We, as the Regional Sourcing Team, are spread across the EMEA, APAC & AMERICAS regions with access to the Global Sourcing network. We focus on delivering sourcing initiatives across all categories of spend cross-divisionally. We help developing and executing the Regional Sourcing strategy in alignment global Category Strategies.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

- You acquired bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, IT or business administration. We have a strong preference for CIPS or similar professional qualification
- Ideally, you have ten (10) years of Sourcing experience in the insurance, re-insurance or financial services industry
- You have excellent command of English language, other language is desirable
- You have a proven track of previous leadership experience
- Your category, demand and vendor management skills are on an advanced level
- You have very good comprehension of Sourcing systems
- You possess well-developed interpersonal skills with a key focus on communication, problem solving and decision-making
- With your strong focus on customer and excellent advisory skills, you are able to effectively collaborate with internal customers and external vendors
- You demonstrate behaviours consistent with Swiss Re personal imperatives focused on delivering sustainable performance, challenging the status quo while bringing new ideas as well as taking personal accountab
