About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Outsourcing Specialist to join the Global Outsourcing Team within Swiss Re's Group Operations division.
You will be responsible for the management and completion of activities in support of the effective governance and oversight of Swiss Re's external and intra-group outsourcing portfolio on a global basis. You will play a leadership role in developing and managing relationships with key internal partners to assist them in understanding and developing capabilities to meet regulatory, compliance and governance requirements.

• You will be responsible for processes by which outsourcing service providers are classified, analyzed, selected and on-boarded according to Group and regulatory standards
• You will implement and continually improve an annual review process for assigned external party outsourcing cases
• Being the subject matter expert and advisor for key strategic partners within the business in regards to outsourcing topics
• Gathering, analysis and reporting of management information bringing fresh and creative ideas to future focused reporting solutions
• Supporting business partners in internal and external audits and regulatory requests
• Leading assigned Group and Divisional strategic and operational projects
• Delivering assurance that regulatory, legal, compliance, and operational matters have been addressed for work is moved to different Swiss Re locations

Personality requirements and skills

About you
University education.
5+ years in business (outsourcing, IT, financial services or international business experience an advantage).

• Do you have proven client management, monitoring, negotiation, influencing, and reporting experience?
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously delivering high quality results in terms of process, content, and timeliness
• Are you conversant with and observing of technology trends, emerging technology, terminology, innovation, risks, standards, governance and ability to work with and implement new technologies?
• Experience of onboarding new external technology services (SaaS, PaaS, Cloud, etc) and ongoing monitoring thereafter an advantage
• Are you a leader by example and inspiring desired behaviors in other employees?
• Do you have strong problem solving skills, actively service-minded, outcome focused in ambiguous or continually changing circumstances?
• Collaborative and good facilitation skills
• Experience with developing new products or services, implementations, or startup ventures an advantage
• Experience with leading projects
• Experience with contractual language, regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.
• At ease working in a virtual and global environment, with a track record of delivering results in this setting.
• Skilled in influencing others and leading teams using your strong interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English
