Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
In your role, you will be working on the implementation and testing phase of CorFit – new system landscape Oracle for CorSo. You will be responsible for close collaboration with CorSo Finance teams – Branch Controlling, Non-tech team, EVM and Carrier Finance teams to understand their processes, act as main point of contact between Finance teams and CorFit project team, gathering requirements from finance teams, participate on UAT testing, addressing issues to CorFit project team and ensure proper escalations of open items/issues and ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements.
Your collaboration will be extended to various functions within Swiss Re Group, Cash & Costs Operations, Tax and Finance IT etc. and across various levels of management.
Other activities/accountabilities that may be required from Employee:
• Perform other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor
• Provide cover for roles in other teams
• Any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time
• Some travel to Swiss Re locations may be required

CorFiT is introducing a new process and system landscape for financial reporting to create the platform for continuous improvement, with the ultimate goal of allowing Finance Corporate Solutions to better support Corporate Solutions growth and become a key trusted and value-adding business partner.

Personality requirements and skills
Qualification in Accounting/Audit and/or University degree in Economics, Science or Business Administration
• Work experience in the financial services industry desirable (insurance / reinsurance business as a plus)
• Knowledge regarding the preparation of financial statements / reports desirable
• Experience in USGAAP/IFRS desirable
• Experience in the use of standard bookkeeping software for financial accounting
• Proven PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience with Oracle system is desired
