About the role
•You will develop and support the existing investment accounting framework
•You will develop a keen understanding of various aspects of FAH, the implementation and its place in AM IT application landscape.
•In this role you will master multiple tools we use in our landscape (Powercenter, UC4 and others)
•You will closely collaborate with Investment Reporting team to get to know their work and processes
•Discussion, design iteration and agreement of the design with the Business Analysts and the product owner
•Your role is to document the technical solution, the data model and the implementation
•You will have the opportunity to work independently on sub-projects without close supervision
•Provide out of hours support where required
•You will be in close cooperation with the project leader and other team members in various locations

The main role of our AM IT Investment Accounting squad is to develop and maintain the Finance Accounting Hub (FAH) application and provide business analysis and technical support for the Finance Reinsurance Investment Reporting team.
AM IT has introduced an agile operating model with a unique shared leadership concept, allowing our colleagues to become leaders from content, process or people perspective. We are using agile methodologies Scrum and Kanban, to deliver improvements to our clients focusing on high value and speed.

You have a degree in a technical field or shown experience in Information Technology
You have educational background or proven experience with Object-oriented software development, relational database platform (preferably Oracle)
You know how to work with issue tracking, source control and continuous integration tools
You posses strong analytical and problem solving skills
You are a reliable teammate able to deliver high performance when working in a team but also when working independently
You are very good at abstraction, fast understanding and conceptual thinking
Good command of English language is a necessity
Additional advantageous skills
•Experience in batch programming
•Experience with business intelligence tools such as Business Objects
•Validated experience in all application tiers - user interface, client / server applications, backend processing and databases
•Understanding of data modelling concepts
•Good knowledge of MS Office and VBA
•Exposure to Financial Markets and understanding of financial products
•Familiarity with agile frameworks and tooling (Scrum, Kanban)
