Job description, responsibilities and duties

The position-holder is accountable for effectively and independently handling all transactions for the portfolio allocated (technical accounting, claims accounting, analysis of financial situation and compensation possibilities, debt collection, cash flow management) while ensuring that deliverables are met (quality, turn-around times, other key performance indicators). This is only possible through a thorough understanding of re-insurance accounting principles. The position-holder is required to work within a set framework of processes and guidelines but is nevertheless asked to make suggestions for improvements. Tasks such as preparing data reports and statistics, additional quality control tasks, planning and controlling of workload, etc. or project work are part of the position.

Efficient, effective and independent end to end processing of technical accounts, including complex cases:
- Technical verification and processing of client accounts according to treaty agreement.
- Financial settlement with clients according to treaty terms and agreements.
- Business correspondence according to market practice and treaty conditions.
- Quality and risk management activities according to internal guidelines and workflows requirements.
- Achievement of Key performance indicators.
- Ensure that the agreed priorities, deadlines and service standards are achieved.
- Manage own work effectively.
- Proactive investigation, analysis and interpretation of processed accounting information.
- Regular reporting to supervisor and sharing of information with other team members.
- Assurance of professional communication with stakeholders / internal clients and ensuring of professional service provision.

- Secondary Economic or Grammar School with 2 - 3 years of working experience in the area of finance, accounting, administration or University degree preferably in the area of finance, accounting, economics.
