About the Role
The Sourcing Analytics Specialist is responsible for driving internal sourcing analytics services throughout the end-to-end vendor life cycle while enabling category, regional and execution teams to perform on their scope in a standardized way. The Sourcing Analytics Specialist engages with building and running consistent sourcing analytics (internal data) procedures.
Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for driving internal sourcing analytics services throughout the end to end vendor life cycle while enabling category, regional and execution teams to perform on their scope in a standardized way
• Responsible for building and running consistent sourcing analytics (internal data) procedures
• Responsible for preparing ad-hoc and recurring sourcing performance reports through importing, cleansing, transforming, validating, analysing and interpreting data from various sources
• Responsible for maintaining and providing input to Sourcing Dashboard and Division Scorecard
• Responsible for running data quality checks as well as identifying and solving data issues to maintain data quality & consistency
• Responsible for increasing spend visibility in some specific regions or areas of spend, testing and validating the data
• Supports the implementation of new reporting solutions and tools in the areas of spend analytics, procurement operations, vendor management
• Responsible for interacting with Finance, IT, Sourcing Management Team and other Sourcing Team members
• Engages with continual improvement initiatives with the focus on achieving lean operating procedures and operational excellence
• Responsible for developing the Sourcing Operations network
• Accountable for driving own career, performance and capability development
• Performs other position related tasks as instructed by Supervisor

The team members act as strategists, consultants and implementers while guiding and executing on strategy as well as providing oversight to projects of high impact. Sourcing Operations team delivers effective communication and online presence to ensure awareness and delivery of customer requirements throughout the department. Through establishing, implementation and maintenance of effective procedures and standardized ways of working, the team ensures lean operations. Sourcing Operations team also executes on department planning, budget management and excellence through Sourcing Governance Framework

Education: Bachelor’s degree required at a minimum; in fields such as business administration, finance, law or a scientific or appropriate technical field. Strong preference for CIPS or similar professional qualification.
Experience:Ideally, the Candidate will have five (5) years of Reporting and Analytics experience in the procurement, insurance, re-insurance or financial services industry. Candidate will demonstrate proficiency in executing on pragmatic solutions in collaboration with the business to advance business priorities. Candidate will be required to communicate effectively with Business partners and external suppliers. Candidate shall demonstrate behaviours consistent with Swiss Re's personal imperatives with a focus on driving sustainable performance and continuous improvement.
Languages: Excellent English, other language desirable
