About the Role
• You will be responsible for the operation support of the systems and analysis, specification and testing of new or enhanced functionalities. You will be involved in all steps of the software process and individually work on assigned project tasks.
• You will maintain and perform user support of productive systems
• You will gather and analyze the requirements for the new solution in close collaboration with business representatives
• You will translate requirements into system specifications, covering all aspects of the functional/non-functional requirements, process and/or data model, …
• You will work closely with the application engineers in the implementation phase and ensure correct understanding and implementation of new solution
• You will perform and document tests and create documentation, both for internal and external use (user manual)
• You will plan and steer rollouts including user trainings
• You will manage assigned subprojects in the above-mentioned fields independently
• You will communicate with international user community and decision makers

About the Team
Our team "Actuarial Systems P&C" consists of business analysts and application engineers and we are responsible for the finance applications related to reserving and actuarial analysis. Our main customer is the actuarial community within the company which is located globally. We also support several Finance IT projects.
We are looking for an agile, highly motivated and skilled IT Business Analyst who wants to take an active role in supporting our team. Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

Minimum base salary for this job from 1700 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.*

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree (or similar) in Business Administration or Economics with good mathematical understanding, or Mathematics or Natural Sciences with good business understanding, Alternatively higher professional education (information management or similar)
• Knowledge in basic accounting principles, actuarial background is a plus
• Experience in insurance/reinsurance, actuarial or IT project work is an asset
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• English is a must
• Knowledge in MS Office, Excel above all
• SQL is an advantage
