Python Software Test Engineer (API)

What will be your task at this position?

• Reviewing of the requirement and design specifications
• Development of functional and non-functional test cases using manual and automation QA techniques
• Manage quality assurance delivery in several functional and non-functional areas with clear scope, objectives, deliverables, and risks
• Tracking and reporting of quantitative and qualitative testing results/metrics in an auditable form
• Ensuring testing is carried out in a timely, repeatable, and effective manner
• Defect logging and reporting

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

• Computer / testing skills

o Manual testing techniques – advanced

o Automation test scripting techniques - advanced

o Python – advanced

o REST API - advanced

• Tools

o Test management & Defect logging tool (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc) – advanced

o Version control tool (GIT) - basics

o CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps…) – basics

o Linux, Windows server – basics

• Other

o Ability to query database (SQL, MySQL, TimescaleDB)

o Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS)

o Agile software methodology (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe)

o ISTQB / ISEB foundation certificate – Nice to have

o At least Bachelor Degree

• Language Skills
