Job description

We offer you a unique opportunity to participate in completion of a Nuclear Power Plant in Mochovce and work in international expert team. For MO34 Project we are looking for a Strategic Buyer with experience in large construction projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Setting and implementing of procurement strategy (evaluation of optimalisation and aggregation possibilities) and monitoring of respective commodity market;
  • Performing analysis of procurement needs and requirements, contracts and spending for assigned commodity;
  • Ensuring the activities necessary for procurement process - for difficult business cases (usually with a high financial amount) - and procurement according the Public procurement law;
  • Leading of negotiations with contractors in order to gain information about their products or services, prices, availability of required products and services and delivery times;
  • Administering the database of service and work suppliers for assigned commodity (history of collaboration, references, products and technical solutions, pricing trends, unit prices);
  • Preparing of cost analysis including benchmarking with aim to collect back up for commercial negotiations;
  • Coordinating of procurement process activities for difficult business cases;
  • Providing up to date information about tenders development and acting as a contact person for procurement in assigned business cases;

  • Collaborating with other company units within the scope of the job.
