Job description, responsibilities and duties
Initiation of procurement market analyses (markets and suppliers) as well as derivation/ensuring the corresponding risk management and the definition for localizing the purchase volume
Conception and assurance of a global procurement and supplier strategy for the assigned category, its programs, as well as the design and optimization of the supply chain
Disciplinary and technical management as well as selection and development of the assigned employees (e.g. talent management, employee development talks, etc.)
Design, negotiation and implementation of supplier contracts for existing and new materials, taking into account the global supplier strategy
Creation (request-offer process) and initiation (negotiation and processing) of globally relevant award decisions
Global and active management of the supplier portfolio in cooperation with the supplier management department (selection, integration, evaluation, further development)
