Job description, responsibilities and duties

The job position is included under Automotive Aftermarket - Global competence center
  • Analysis of procurement markets based on trade fair and supplier visits, tender and technical documents
  • Carrying out requests for quotations, price comparisons and value analyses with the aim of optimizing the procurement situation
  • Development, implementation and continuous monitoring of the global purchasing strategy
  • Creation of templates and reports, as well as, if necessary, draft and elaboration of countermeasures in the event of endangering the budget or target premises
  • Implementation and follow-up of price, quality, condition and contract negotiations
  • Elaboration of proposals for supplier selection, development and control according to category-specific requirement matrix
  • Deriving and realizing technical and commercial potential
  • Support in the development of opportunity and risk management and in problem-solving activities for the assigned suppliers
