Experienced Payroll Professional with German (m/f)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are a growing team within the PwC Advisory, consisting of international experts in finance, tax, and risk management. As part of our strategic growth plan, we are establishing a new payroll branch within our team, offering a unique opportunity for ambitious professionals to make their mark and shape the future of our company. Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Payroll Professional (m/f), your responsibilities will include:

○ Working on projects for external clients, particularly those from German-speaking countries but for clients from other countries as well.
○ Acting as an external consultant, providing expert guidance on payroll processes.
○ Engaging in projects with external clients, ensuring their payroll needs are met efficiently and effectively.
○ Adhering to payroll policies, practices, and controls, ensuring compliance with country regulations to meet tax obligations.
○ Collaborating with other consultants and experts both locally and internationally.
○ Maintaining clear and effective communication with various stakeholders, both internal and external.

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

○ 2+ years of hands-on experience in internal or external payroll roles working with payroll related technologies and processes.
○ Fluent in English (C1 level) and German (C1 level).
○ Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and problem-solving proactively.
○ A customer-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
○ Positive attitude with a willingness to tackle challenges head-on.
○ Experience working with clients from German-speaking countries is advantageous.
