Senior Consultant for Business Recovery Services

Job description, responsibilities and duties

PwC is a large consulting company with the ability to deliver exceptional service to a variety of clients. Part of our Advisory practice is also providing Business Recovery Services (BRS).

We are a team of professionals with a wide range of backgrounds. Our goal is to advise the client on the best solution in a crisis context.

Currently we want to grow our team and that's why we seek a Senior Consultant who will help us to follow our aim to help our clients to manage crises.

Being a Senior Consultant involves working on a diverse portfolio of cases, both in terms of size of businesses and industry sectors as well.

What can you expect to be your daily routine:
  • overseeing portfolio of cases, including setting of the case strategies and driving of case progression;
  • business and financial assessment,
  • developing turnaround strategy/plan,
  • bringing solutions to topics like debt restructuring / refinancing, corporate simplification, insolvency or other,
  • ensuring compliance with risk and quality;
  • communication with creditors, stakeholders and other specialist areas within PwC,
  • mentoring and support for junior colleagues.

Personality requirements and skills

Key skills / experience:
  • financial background
  • strong analytical mindset and sharp logical thinking,
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • ability to take ownership,
  • proven project and time management skills,
  • awareness of risk & quality issues
  • at least 3 years of previous experience in managing portfolio of insolvency cases, liquidations, debt restructuring or others

Nice to have skills / experience:
  • ACA/ ACCA, CA/CPA or equivalent or JIEB,
  • legal background
  • previous work experience in consulting / big4
  • willingness to participate in marketing and business development
