Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Analysis and recalculation of insurance reserves within Audit team
  • Supervising his/her given team based on client‘s requirements
  • Use statistical methods to deliver solutions for various purposes
  • cooperate with teams at various advisory projects – e.g. IFRS 17, Solvency II
  • Communicate the results within a team

Personality requirements and skills

  • University / Bachelor's Degree in mathematics / actuarial science or related area
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in the field
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications
  • Programming languages (SAS, R, SQL...) is an advantage
  • Experience with actuarial software like Prophet, MoSes, Sophas and other is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels both in English and Slovak
  • Strong analytical, research, IT and creative problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally
