Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a member of our team within PwC Competency centre you will be working with audit teams across Slovakia. Whether you're ready for a career change or you are at the start of your working life PwC has a great opportunity within our new established Competency centre that will develop your skills and boost your employability no matter what your background is.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Validating information such as invoices and bank statements against underlying client records.
  • Checking the accuracy of client data.
  • Processing data in internal PwC systems.
  • Speaking to client stakeholders and other PwC team members via phone, email and other Google enabled technologies.
  • Managing emails received and responding accordingly.
  • Discussing any issues within the data provided with your team manager.
  • Application of PwC audit best practice and testing strategies.
  • Working with the latest state of art technologies (automation of recurring processes, document reading bots, etc.)

Full training will be provided to you in basic auditing, bookkeeping, technology and other skills required.

Personality requirements and skills

We're looking for those who:
  • Have high school education
  • Know English language (level B2)
  • Have experience in working with Excel and/or Google
  • Are team players and are eager to learn new skills
  • Have good communication (verbal and written) and numeracy skills
  • Are able to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Are reliable and detail oriented
  • Working experience in Accountancy is an advantage
